Our client is a well established hotel group and is is looking for a Chef to join their Hotel in a regional South Australia.
The Role
We are looking to immediately fill permanent full time position for chef.
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per our standards
Assist senior chefs in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Execute basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and marinating meats.
Creating menus with flair and innovation having regard to our stock, season and patron preferences
Ensure patron satisfaction & experience by delivering dishes to expectation
Monitoring stock level and ordering accordingly to ensure cost-effectiveness
Monitoring food preservation and rotation to ensure minimal wastage
Assisting and training kitchen staff in understanding dish preparation and ingredients
Aiding in the selection and training of kitchen staff.
Managing kitchen staff
Ensuring health regulations are met at all times by all kitchen and waiting staff.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following attributes:
AQF Diploma in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, or a minimum of 3 years in a similar role

ABOUT YOU:
Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery
Relevant experience in a premium restaurant/banquet kitchen
Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster
Well presented, punctual and reliable
Ability to keep your section clean and organized with a positive understanding of work flow and structure
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
A passion for quality food and produce accommodation assistance provided
salary : $76,0000-$80,000 + Superannuation.
