Overview
Location: Parramatta, NSW. Rotating 12-hour shifts – days and nights. Role: Licensed Maintenance Electrician / Industrial Electrician. Compensation: $48.50 per hour (including site allowance) + penalties (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
* Perform heavy industrial electrical tasks, including power, lighting, and cable tray installations.
* Complete PLC, SCADA and telemetry installations.
* Proficiently install power, lighting, and instrumentation systems.
* Lead isolation, testing and commissioning activities with precision.
* Maintain and complete Quality Assurance documentation.
* Improve troubleshooting to resolve electrical faults efficiently.
* Deliver quality results while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
* Contribute to timely project completion and accurate administrative tasks and paperwork.
* Operate within rigorous safe work systems and procedures at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Previous experience in manufacturing plants and preventative maintenance or substantial experience in demanding industrial settings such as manufacturing and materials handling.
* Valid NSW Electrical Licence and trade qualifications.
* White Card (Construction Safety Card).
* Ideally certified for Working at Heights and/or elevated work platforms (EWP) and/or scissor lift, forklift licence, confined space and first aid.
* Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
* Team-oriented with the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for deliverables.
