Job Overview

As the Project Director working on the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project, you'll be responsible for the strategic, commercial and operational leadership of RSGx's portfolio of scopes on the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project. This includes oversight of financial and QHSE performance, delivery excellence, workforce planning, client engagement, and senior leadership of all operational teams as you work closely with the client onsite.

This opportunity will see you leading all major tendering, negotiation and contract acquisition activities for new and expanded scopes on the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project, ensuring RSGx is positioned as the preferred partner and that all engagements are commercially robust.

Additional Responsibilities
* Lead the project portfolio – set direction, oversee delivery priorities, and ensure performance aligns with RSGx's national strategy.
* Drive commercial success – lead tendering, negotiations, and financial performance across all scopes.
* Champion client partnerships – manage senior stakeholder relationships, governance forums, and identify new opportunities.
* Ensure operational excellence – oversee project execution, compliance, and workforce mobilisation.
* Inspire teams – coach and develop staff, foster a high-performance culture, and support critical recruitment.
* Promote safety & sustainability – embed QHSE standards, lead audits, and champion continuous improvement.

This role can be based in Cooma with a private residence. We welcome candidates considering relocation or flexible arrangements such as FIFO.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll bring extensive senior leadership experience on large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects ($200M+ portfolios), with proven expertise in managing multiple scopes and multi-disciplinary teams. You'll also demonstrate high-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels, including;

* Strong commercial and contractual negotiation experience.
* Ability to work within Tier 1 systems, governance frameworks and project controls.
* Demonstrated success in winning, negotiating and delivering major contracts.
* Strong financial acumen and P&L leadership.
* Degree in Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Project or business management. Leadership qualifications highly desirable.
* Knowledge of enterprise agreements and IR frameworks relevant to large infrastructure projects.
