Role Overview
KPMG Law's national team of tax dispute resolution and controversy specialists have extensive experience assisting organisations and individuals in managing and resolving tax disputes.
The role involves working with clients to prepare for and resolve their risk reviews, audits, and disputes with revenue authorities while maintaining effective working relationships.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work on complex audits, preparing objections, briefing counsel, and advising clients on tax litigation.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with clients to prepare for and resolve risk reviews, audits, and disputes with revenue authorities
* Conduct research and analysis to identify key issues and develop recommendations for clients
* Collaborate with other specialists to develop written and oral advocacy skills and provide legal advice, including taxation law and administrative law
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law, and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy
* Ability to manage multiple and concurrent complex projects and deliver timely and quality results
* Ability to negotiate with high-level discretion with internal or external parties
