About you:
This is a rewarding role offering the opportunity to develop your career. We are looking for:
Australian work rights are required for this position.
- Experience in a similar role or knowledge/experience in a similar industry
- Acceptable similar role experience includes automotive detailing, truck yard operations, or vehicle delivery driver positions
- A minimum of 6 months experience is required for this role
- The capability to contribute to a positive team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- The capacity to take on manual handling and physical tasks
- Customer service focus, with a "Make It Happen" attitude
- A focus on communication, performance, safety and culture
- A HR drivers licence (as a minimum)
- A forklift licence is also desirable.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Relocating new and used trucks between TriStar Truck & Bus locations and suppliers
- Detailing and preparing new trucks for delivery
- Checking and maintaining new trucks on display
- Provide assistance to the new truck pre-delivery team
- Yard maintenance at our fast paced dealership including grounds and building maintenance
- General tasks to support dealership operations.
