Forensicare is Victoria's specialist provider of forensic mental health services.
We deliver recovery-focused programs for consumers with serious mental illness or problematic behaviors connected to the justice system, across inpatient, community, and secure settings.
About the Role
As Director of Quality & Safety, you'll provide strategic leadership to ensure care is safe, effective, and aligned with best practice standards.
You'll oversee clinical governance, risk management, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and continuous learning across all service areas.
Key Responsibilities Lead development and implementation of quality and safety systems across forensic mental health services.
Oversee accreditation, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
Drive continuous improvement through evidence-based strategies and data analytics.
Provide expert advice to executive and governance committees.
Mentor and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
About You Postgraduate qualifications in healthcare leadership, quality management, or equivalent experience.
Proven expertise in safety and quality systems within complex healthcare environments.
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in mental health services (forensic or acute settings highly regarded).
Proficiency in incident management systems and data-driven decision-making.
