Position


This role supports the Warehouse & Logistics Project Manager in daily operations, with a focus on managing the warehouse team and overseeing the Receiving team's performance. Responsibilities include daily planning for Receiving and Inventory Control, championing Workplace Health & Safety & 5S, and performing essential logistic and warehousing analytical and administrative tasks.


Job responsibilities


Daily Operations

* Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and executing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently.
* Plan and execute daily warehouse activities, including receiving and inventory control
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability, implementing procedures to minimise loss and maximise stock accuracy.
* Analyse warehouse operations and performance data to identify areas for improvement, implementing strategic changes to enhance productivity.
* Analyse data and create weekly/monthly reports to management
* Backup the Team Leaders & Manager when required

Team Management

* Oversee weekly rostering of warehouse team in Tanda, adhering to monthly budget.
* Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
* Manage KPI targets for all receiving and return activities.
* Provide guidance to warehouse team on best practices.

Receiving

* Manage day to day planning for Receiving activities and team
* Set the daily inbound plan and priorities with the team of receivers.
* Oversee receiving productivity is meeting KPI Targets.
* Point of contact for all receiving activities from brand and internal stakeholders.
* Assist team with forklift operation when required.

Inventory Control

* Manage day to day planning for Inventory Control
* Monitor and Update Primary Location to ensure picking optimisation and batch management.
* Cycle count list generation & give to team for daily count.
* Oversee picking replenishments (automatic replenishment but also generate manual replenishment requests).
* Oversee movements to ensure warehouse picking optimisation.

Returns and Destruction

* Manage End to End Returns process adhering to global compliance.
* Manage End to End Destruction process adhering to global compliance.

Warehouse Administration

* Place purchase orders routinely.
* Manage consumables adhering to budget.
* Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
* General exporting documentation.
* Provide administrative support for warehouse ad-hoc project / special requests / stock management / locations management/ WHS monthly reporting / missing items and short ships.
* Contribute to key continuous improvement projects in relation to warehouse processes.

Workplace Health & Safety & 5S

* Acquire and keep up-to-date knowledge of work health and safety matters.
* Identify and assess potential hazards and work health and safety risks.
* Ensure compliance with all work health and safety policies and procedures.
* Provide relevant information, guidance, and support to engaged workers in relation to work health and safety.
* Monitor and execute security measures
* Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse following 5S and internal targets, supervise staff 5S management in the Receiving and Storage Zones
* Ensure all stations are clean and respect iAuditor standards, including your own desk


Profile


Skills and Experience

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* A Diploma in a related field (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management) is highly desirable.
* RF scanning picking and receiving experience is a significant advantage.
* Proficient computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
* Strong IT knowledge, including understanding of interface systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and E-commerce platforms.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, such as basic power queries, Power BI, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, pivot tables, drop-down lists, and text to column functionality.
* Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and timely while maintaining a safe working environment.

* Must hold a current Forklift license with at least 12 months of high reach experience.
