Accounts Payable Officer Role

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will perform day-to-day financial transactions, verify, code, post, and record accounts payable data.
You will prepare and process weekly and end-of-month payments via EFT/BPAY, send remittance advices after payments are approved in the bank, reconcile supplier/contractor monthly statements to ensure accounts are maintained in current status.
You will also be responsible for credit card reconciliations, maintaining records including filing and archiving of AP data, end-of-month reconciliations for accounts payable, reconciliation/recording of fleet and phone charges.
Additionally, you will provide support to the finance team as required.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Xero Software highly preferred
* Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Demonstrate accuracy and eye for detail
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable role
