Your new role
Working part time, you will play an important role in ensuring payroll activities run smoothly. Your responsibilities will focus on contributing to the overall accuracy, compliance and service delivery of the payroll function, including:
Preparing payroll data for processing and ensuring all information is validated
Monitoring time sheet submissions and following up on discrepancies or missing information
Checking calculations for allowances, loadings and adjustments before the final payroll run.
Coordinating payroll-related correspondence with employees and internal stakeholders
Supporting the maintenance of employee records, ensuring changes are captured promptly
Assisting with producing routine payroll reports for management
Updating employment details such as hours, classifications or contract variations
Supporting audit activities by providing requested payroll information and documentation
Reviewing payroll processes and identifying opportunities for improvement

Ability to interpret awards & EBAs
Be systems savvy with an eye for process improvements.
