About the Role
* Lead the kitchen team at The Bavarian Coomera, delivering authentic Bavarian cuisine to the highest standards.
* Oversee daily operations including food quality, team management, and cost control.
* Foster a positive, high‑performing kitchen culture focused on training and growth.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with management to drive menu innovation and venue success.
What We're Looking For
* Proven leadership: Previous experience as a Head Chef in a pub‑style or casual dining environment.
* Operational know‑how: Strong skills in rostering, labour management, food COGS, and inventory control.
* Expert communicator: Excellent communication and technical knowledge to lead the back‑of‑house team and deliver seamless operations.
* Compliance champion: Solid understanding of food safety standards with a current Food Safety Supervisor certification.
* Passion for people: A genuine drive to mentor, develop, and inspire junior chefs on their culinary journey.
