We have an exciting internal opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to oversee the operations of our Wingfield Distribution Centre.
The Opportunity
Monday-Friday: 42.5 hours per weekBase + Super & Benefits
As the Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the distribution centre's successful operation by managing your team, ensuring customer orders are prepared on time and communicating any service issues with our Order Support team.
Safety is our number 1 priority, which means you will be proactive on all OHS matters to ensure the safest working environment for you and your team.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a well-organised warehouse.
Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring all OH&S policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
Regularly monitoring and improving processes, procedures, performance, and productivity along the logistics chain
Managing operations in line with budgets and KPIs
Maintaining the highest level of pick accuracy
Regularly monitoring and maintaining "on-time-in-full" order execution
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Alerting Sales and Management of any service failures and any remedial action taken
Maintaining the highest level of security of stock to ensure only authorised personnel have access to the warehouse
Educating and training operators in the use of warehouse management systems and RF equipment
Maintaining stock condition and presentation
Ensuring the integrity of stock actual-to-system data
