With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways we\'re enriching health, and develop your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.

Achieve Something Great

In this senior clinician role, you will contribute to meaningful and lasting change for consumers with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and complex mental health needs. As part of the SWSLHD PCLI/IDMH and NDIS team, you will play a vital role in driving culture change across the district to enhance service delivery, improve outcomes, and support safe transitions into the community. Working closely with inpatient units, community mental health teams, and the broader state-wide PCLI network, you will provide leadership, clinical expertise, and system‐level advocacy that strengthens recovery pathways for some of the most vulnerable consumers. Based at the Mental Health service at Liverpool Hospital, this district-wide service offers the unique opportunity to influence practice across multiple sites while contributing to innovative models of care.

Are You the Right Fit?

This role is well suited to a clinician who brings resilience, passion, and strong problem‐solving skills to complex mental health environments. Ideal candidates are those who remain enthusiastic in challenging settings, recognise and celebrate progress—however small—and maintain a recovery-focused perspective when working with consumers with high levels of clinical risk and complexity. The senior clinician will provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision within a multidisciplinary team while managing a tailored PCLI caseload appropriate to service needs. Success in the role requires a commitment to evidence‐based practice, collaborative care, and system advocacy to support safe transitions and prevent avoidable admissions. Clinicians driven by meaningful outcomes and motivated to make a genuine difference will find this opportunity highly rewarding.

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Demonstrated experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery using the quality improvement process.
* Ability to work independently and in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
