The ARC Training Centre for Resource Efficient Alloys in a Circular Economy is an Australian Research Council funded, five-year research and training initiative. This Centre brings together two leading Australian universities and five forward-thinking industry partners to deliver cutting-edge research and foster the next generation of research leaders in sustainable alloy innovation. We are seeking motivated, creative, and collaborative PhD candidates who are passionate about addressing global challenges through science and engineering.

Who Should Apply
We welcome applicants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, especially those with a degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related disciplines

Applicants with prior experience in circular economy or life cycle assessment of metals or alloys will be highly competitive.
What's on Offer
Stipend: AUD 40,581 per annum (tax-free) for up to 3 years
International candidates: Full tuition fee waiver (up to 4 years)
