Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in remote settings
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
* Conduct health education and promotion activities to improve patient outcomes
* Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure quality patient care
* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Experience in rural or remote primary healthcare
* Acute care and emergency response expertise
* Remote Emergency Certificate (REC)
* Maternity Emergency Certificate (MEC)
* Pharmacotherapeutics Certificate or equivalent (optional)
* Immunisation Program Nurse (updated within 12 months)
* Paediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) (optional)
* Advanced Life Support (ALS)
* Manual Driver Licence
* 4WD Certificate (optional)
