Key Role: Network Administrator
We're seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Administrator to design, implement, and support our LAN, WAN, and VOIP infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in maintaining and optimizing our global network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance across the business.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain network performance and availability.
* Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
* Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure network security.
* Support global network operations and disaster recovery planning.
* Plan, install, and configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and servers.
* Design and implement network infrastructure using Cisco technologies.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, GDPR).
* Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security protocols.
* Analyze traffic patterns and recommend upgrades to improve network efficiency.
* Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
* Assist in strategic planning and implementation of enterprise-wide projects.
* Work closely with vendors and data centers on configurations and outages.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
* Participate in a rotating after-hours support schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
* Strong knowledge of data communications and networking principles.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (CCNA required, CCNP preferred).
* Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
* Proficiency in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and other related technologies.
* Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Path Solutions).
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Required
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Highly Desired
