Overview
Registered Nurse, Community Older Peoples Mental Health. Based at the Charlestown Community Services Centre, you will deliver meaningful, person-centred mental health care to older people in a supportive, close-knit community team. This is a permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week.
Location: Charlestown, New South Wales, Australia. Employment Type: Permanent Full Time. Position Classification: Registered Nurse. Remuneration: $72,152.53 - $101,299.48 Per Annum + 12% Super + Salary Packaging. Closing: Sunday 28th September 2025.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical case management and mental health care to populations including: people generally aged over 65 years, Aboriginal people aged over 50 years, and individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness or severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a community setting co-located with Adult Community and CAMHS services.
- Work with experienced senior staff (OPMH Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Director, Clinical Nurse Consultant) who provide ongoing clinical guidance, supervision, and professional support.

- Demonstrated experience in clinical case management in a community mental health setting.
- A strong understanding of mental health issues affecting older people.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
