Job Title: Registered Nurse in Urgent Care

As a vital team member, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients that present to the urgent care service are identified as being appropriate for the service, triaged promptly and provided with front-line care in collaboration with the urgent care medical practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care — take charge of triaging every patient who walks through the door with accuracy, empathy, and confidence.
* Conduct thorough and precise nursing triage — quickly assess patient needs and prioritize care to ensure the best outcomes.
* Act decisively in critical moments — identify and elevate emergencies or patient deterioration without hesitation to safeguard patient health.
* Put your clinical skills to work — perform hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering, expanding your expertise in a fast-paced environment.

About You:
* You must be available evenings and weekends.
* You must meet the minimum experience level in one of the following areas: 3 years of experience in an emergency department setting, 3 years of triage experience, or 3 years of experience in ICU, CCU, rural or remote nursing.
* You will be required to provide a Working with Children's check and National Police check if not already obtained.
* You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
* You can work autonomously and delegate when appropriate.
