We are seeking an experienced and proactive Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our workshop in Darwin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on light and heavy vehicles, trailers, utes, and plant equipment
* Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet
* Manage workload and maintain accurate job records/logbooks
* Support the workshop with general housekeeping and safety compliance
* Contribute to a strong safety culture by following OH&S policies
* Assist with procurement of parts, tools, and consumables as required
The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of diesel and petrol systems, electrical diagnosis, and mechanical fault finding.
They should also possess a trade-qualified Motor Mechanic certification, a Construction Induction Card (White Card), and a valid Driver's Licence (HR or HC highly desirable).
A Forklift Licence is advantageous but not necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled mechanic to join a positive team environment with a strong safety and development culture.
