About the role
The Warehouse and Forklift Operator supports and works alongside the production team at our avocado and mango processing plant located in Bundaberg. To be successful in this role, you must be an experienced and competent forklift operator with a current forklift licence. This role works in a larger team in a fast-paced environment and reports to the Production Supervisor.
Duties include but not limited to
* Receiving and dispatching of product on transport, ensuring products are correct and safe for transportation or received in a manner that product quality is maintained
* Ensure all orders, transfers and receivables are executed efficiently and dispatched and received in accordance with customer requirements
* Ensure traceability of receivables by maintaining a correct count and records of receivables, transfers, weekly production levels and dispatches of product by completing the appropriate paperwork
* Ensure all paperwork is accurate and provided when receiving and dispatching stock prior to transportation
* Accurate data entry
* Working in freezer and cold rooms and monitoring and recording the temperatures of freezers, ripening rooms and cold rooms as per scheduled times
* Follow procedures to ensure fruit is ripened to meet specifications for production
* Move stock and materials within the warehouse by forklift without damage to product or property
* Maintain the warehouse in a safe, neat and orderly state at all times
* Be constantly considering WHS measures and reporting any hazards
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience
* Current Forklift Licence
* Experienced forklift operator
* Warehouse experience
* Good communication skills
* Sound literacy and numeracy ability
* Drivers Licence

What You Should Know About Our Operations
Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds and bees in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.
Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
