About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – QLD, this full‐time, home‐based role in Rockhampton / Mackay / Emerald focuses on driving revenue and business development within the mining sector.
Responsibilities
* Drive specification development and conversion within the assigned territory, managing spend within the approved expense budget
* Grow and develop mining market opportunities, strengthening Victaulic's presence and pipeline
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, designers, specifiers, and buyers
* Provide technical and commercial support to customers, including product selection, service, problem resolution, and value creation
* Translate budget and revenue targets into actionable territory plans, activities, and priorities
* Maximise territory performance through effective planning, scheduling, and coverage management
* Support training and promotional activities for specifiers, distributors, and contractors
* Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly territory reports, and prepare annual budgets and monthly sales forecasts
Qualifications
* Proven track record managing technical sales within mining environments
* Piping systems experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory
* Demonstrated experience undertaking site visits and engaging with owners, engineers, and contractors
* Strong understanding of mining project workflows, MRO budgets, and shutdown planning cycles
* Self‐motivated and able to work autonomously
* Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment and adapt to challenges
* Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
* Solution‐oriented with high analytical and organisational skills
* A valid Australian Driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
* Located either in Rockhampton, Emerald, or Mackay
