Job Description
Be a strategic leader in the finance function of a high-profile non-profit organization.
The successful candidate will support the COO and Executive in achieving organizational objectives, reporting to an experienced and supportive COO. Together, they will improve performance and raise the profile of both the finance function and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the finance team in implementing improved reporting services and BI tools for key stakeholders.
* Assist in setting up new commercial entities and conducting reviews with existing customers to assist in going to market to win new customers.
* Ensure effective management of financial accounting and related statutory reporting.
* Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
* Liaise with auditors for annual audit and internal audit.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Desired Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or similar.
* Possess CA or CPA (or equivalent) qualification, including membership.
* Proven leader who can effectively manage and develop colleagues, including qualified accountants.
* High level of experience in financial management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
* History of adding value and initiating improved reporting.
* Comfortable presenting financial and non-financial information to the business.
* Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
