We are working with a high performing national firm looking to grow their Banking & Finance practice in Sydney.

The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, the team is looking for a lawyer to work on complex, high-value transactions for both financiers and borrowers. Clients include onshore and offshore credit funds, asset managers, bank and non-bank lenders, strategic investors, creditors and insolvency practitioners.
The work spans structured and asset-backed transactions, venture and growth finance, secondary trades, financial turnarounds and corporate restructurings.
Responsibilities
* Advising on complex Banking & Finance and structured finance transactions
* Acting for lenders, borrowers, credit funds and investors across a range of financing matters
* Drafting and negotiating finance documentation
* Supporting and leading transactions from inception through to completion
* Working closely with partners and senior lawyers across offices
* Supporting business development and client relationship initiatives
About You
* 3+ years' PAE in Banking & Finance from a reputable firm
* Experience advising on financing transactions (lender or borrower side)
* Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
* Strong technical drafting and commercial skills
* Interest in playing a visible role in the continued growth of the practice
