We're looking for a practical, proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, welcoming spaces for our residents and staff. 
This role is ideal for someone who prefers being on the tools rather than managing teams or coordinating trades.Key Responsibilities (not limited to)Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.About youWe're looking for a dependable and motivated individual who takes initiative and enjoys being actively involved in day-to-day maintenance tasks. 
You'll bring:Solid hands-on maintenance experience, with proven skills in painting – essential.Practical skills in gardening, including weeding, pruning shrubs, and day-to-day ad hoc outdoor tasks.Experience working with property-related contractors.A collaborative, can-do attitude, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.Proficiency in Microsoft 365.A valid driver's license.Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable.Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.A genuine alignment with BaptistCare's vision, purpose, and values.If you enjoy variety in your day, take initiative, and value meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you!
