We're looking for an Associate Director, Product Manager – Authentication to lead the design and implementation of critical authentication processes across all channels. In this role, you'll ensure every customer interaction is seamless, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards.
What You'll Do
Drive innovation in authentication management and customer experience.
Collaborate with CX and Process Excellence teams to deliver frictionless yet secure authentication journeys.
Partner with Architecture and Technical Product Managers to ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
Work closely with legal, regulatory, fraud, and data teams to monitor compliance, mitigate risks, and reduce fraud impacts.
Own and manage the Optus Authentication Policy, ensuring day-to-day compliance and reporting on key metrics.
What makes you perfect for the role?
3+ years in technical/product/platform management for complex software.
Ability to frame problems with clear PRDs and measurable OKRs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with authentication concepts: OIDC, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, SSO.
Familiarity with modern authentication solutions like Auth0 or Okta preferred.
Knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks governing identity and verification.
