) is a non‑profit organisation dedicated to improving access to high‑quality, culturally appropriate care for people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. We raise awareness, build connections between communities and service providers, and empower individuals to navigate care systems. We also deliver services such as training, cultural audits, mentoring, volunteering opportunities and community engagement to support aged care and disability providers in delivering culturally responsive care.

Job title: Project Administrative Assistant
Objective: To provide administrative assistance to the Director, Centre of Capability and Culture (CCC) in fulfilling obligations to the Association for Culturally Appropriate Services (AfCAS) as per the signed agreement between AfCAS & CCC.
Hours: The role will be Part-Time, with a minimum of a 2-day week.
Administrative Duties:
-Utilise the current online records to improve, establish and upkeep AfCAS required administrative records.
-Provide administration, coordination, and support for AfCAS projects (Such as the ACVVS, including orientation) and marketing efforts.
-Assist research and help prepare submissions as required.
-Support AfCAS bidding and collation of project information as directed.
-Manage client visitation experience for AfCAS visitors including receive and direct visitors.
-Maintain diary appointments for Director CCC, and book/manage appointments for AfCAS projects.
-Receive and reply to incoming AFCAS calls and emails, respond and redirect as appropriate, guided by Director.
-Prepare invoices and input data into Merchant Banking, Survey Monkey, Excel spreadsheets, Humanitix or other systems as required.
-Support the regular updates for AFCAS website and social media.
Other Office Duties:
-Create and update databases, website, quarterly newsletters.
-Support AfCAS project personnel and volunteers as required (e.g. booking appointments, sending documents, archiving project information etc).
-Generate and track AfCAS event and project bookings and surveys.
-Attend required meetings, record minutes and distribute action items.
-Organise and maintain office, training room, and reception for client visits.
Selection Criterion:
-Qualifications and experience related to project and/or office administration.
-Demonstrated current experience in the use of a range of information technology such as website data entry, Zoom, Microsoft products, Survey Monkey and social media.
-Demonstrated online research skills.
-Proven written and oral communication skills for phone, emails and in person in office and community contexts.
