Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role located in Strathalbyn, SA. The role involves delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatments for a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic disability management. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, engaging in hands-on therapies, and maintaining detailed clinical notes. The physiotherapist will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for clients, contribute to community-focused initiatives, and uphold the high standards of care valued at Strathalbyn Physiotherapy.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in hands-on therapy techniques and rehabilitation methods, including musculoskeletal and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
* Skills in designing and implementing customized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to provide person-centered care and build effective relationships with clients.
* Ability to manage diverse caseloads, including working with NDIS clients, return-to-work cases, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
* Experience or interest in aquatic therapy, sports physiotherapy, and innovative physiotherapy practices.
* Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* CPR and First Aid certification, as well as knowledge of current evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
* Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
