About the Role
The primary function of this position is to oversee the preparation, assessment, and submission of documentation for various building projects. This includes conducting site inspections, preparing compliance certificates, and ensuring that all projects meet the necessary building codes and regulations.
* The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Building Act, Regulations, and the Building Code of Australia (BCA) along with the Building Surveyors Code of Practice in Tasmania.
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in building surveying or a related field is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in building surveying, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, project management, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
* Prepare and submit compliance certificates, occupancy permits, and other relevant documents.
