Management Accountant Role
A high-growth investment-backed global business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their top-tier finance team. As a key member, you will drive the month-end reporting process, analyze performance against budget, and deliver strategic insights to support business decision-making and operational efficiency.
About the Role
* Lead the efficient and timely month-end reporting process, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with the budget.
* Assist in preparing and processing various journals, including accruals and prepayments, and perform variance analysis across key financial metrics.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and contribute to reporting on key operational activities.
* Maintain the actuals vs. budget model and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and interpret financial performance, identifying key variances to budget and the underlying operational drivers.
* Presents clear and concise financial insights to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities to align performance with strategic goals.
* Regularly update and improve reporting templates to streamline processes and ensure clarity for all stakeholders.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or CA preferred.
* Proven experience in a Management Accounting or FP&A role, with a focus on financial analysis and performance reporting.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with a range of internal stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
