About the Project / Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Leading Hand Carpenter to join our well-resourced team on a retirement living development in Helensvale (17 independent units, maintenance shed and carpark).
This is a fixed-term contract through to November 2026 with immediate start available. The role is ideal for a hands‐on leader to manage the carpentry team and support the Site Manager to deliver on program.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervising and manage carpentry resources
* Support the Site Manager in day-to-day site coordination and delivery
* Lead and supervise trades on site to maintain productivity and quality
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
* Monitor works against drawings, specifications and program
* Proactively identify and resolve site issues
* Coordinate subcontractors and site logistics
* Promote a safe, respectful and high‐performing site culture
* Assist with inspections, defect management and handover processes
About You
* QBCC Licensed Supervisor or Builder
* Trade qualified Carpenter with Leading Hand or Foreman experience
* Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and site compliance
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
* Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
* Confident communicator with subcontractors and stakeholders
* High attention to detail and pride in quality outcomes
* Reliable, hands‐on and team‐oriented approach
* Sound computer skills for site reporting (BuildPass or similar advantageous)
