Child Protection Response Health Clinician Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic clinician to work in a dynamic regional environment, making a significant impact within communities.
The role involves providing trauma-informed clinical services within multiagency systems responding to investigations where children, young people, and their families are referred to the service.
* Deliver comprehensive crisis counselling services to support individuals and families affected by child protection issues.
* Provide clinical supervision and support to other health professionals within the team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hold a relevant qualification and registration or eligibility for registration as a Psychologist, Social Worker, or other relevant healthcare professional.
* Demonstrate high levels of professionalism with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large team.
* Have experience in providing counselling and/or working within a health service setting.
* Exhibit expert level written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
* Demonstrate expertise in the provision of crisis, therapeutic, and other clinical responses to victims of sexual assault and physical abuse and neglect of children.
