Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our operations.
As our Compliance Risk Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating with commercial stakeholders to resolve compliance-related issues and client complaints;
* Assisting in the development and timely review of Compliance policies and procedures;
* Conducting monitoring and control testing activities outlined in our Compliance Management Framework and Compliance Monitoring Plan;
* Preparing and submitting monthly reports informing management on ongoing compliance with our compliance obligations;
* Designing and delivering compliance training calendar to staff and senior leadership;
* Assessing incidents, errors, and breaches, and maintaining relevant registers;
* Driving proactive improvements to the business in ways that reduce risk and raise compliance standards while supporting growth;
* Working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure compliance obligations are understood and managed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in compliance roles within the financial services industry;
* Previous experience in OTC Derivatives is favorable;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
* Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders;
* Good understanding of Australian financial services laws and regulations, including AML/CTF laws and regulations;
* An understanding of compliance management frameworks;
* Strong documentation and policy writing skills;
* Outstanding attention to detail.
