Disability Support Worker Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support and care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores.
* Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with clients' families or guardians.
* Implement therapeutic interventions as recommended by healthcare professionals.
* Encourage clients' participation in social activities and community integration.
* Monitor and document clients' progress toward their goals.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, doctors, nurses, and other support workers to ensure holistic care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly in dynamic situations.
* Patience when working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors or communication difficulties.

Others:
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification highly desirable but not essential for entry-level positions. Relevant experience will be considered.
* First Aid/CPR certification preferred but can be obtained upon hiring if necessary.
