The Opportunity
Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking the appointment of intermediate level Engineers with a passion for water and wastewater, to join our thriving Planning team. This role will be based in our Newcastle office.
This exciting opportunity will see you get involved in multiple aspects of the engineering consulting such as:
* Supporting our senior engineers in the delivery of planning, feasibility and strategy studies and concept design for a range of water, wastewater and recycled water engineering projects.
* Hydraulic modelling of water supply and wastewater systems.
* GIS analysis, cost estimation and the preparation of reports.
* Field inspection and condition assessment of water supply, wastewater and stormwater assets.
* Collaborating with other disciplines to contribute to process engineering, design and asset management projects and project delivery services.

To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate the following
* Recently completed a civil or environmental engineering or related discipline degree, achieving a high standard of results throughout your studies.
* Knowledge and interest of water and wastewater network planning.
* A commitment to learn and expand your knowledge of the water industry.
* Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.
* Exemplary skills in Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
