Role
Due to an internal move, Komatsu are looking for a
Technician
to join our team in Fairfield. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on role assembling Komatsu OEM equipment. You'll handle everything from base machine assembly and fitting customer-specific options to performance testing - all while meeting Komatsu's highest quality standards and following Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and installation guides.
What you'll bring:
* Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
* Full drivers licence
* Forklift license or ability to obtain, or overhead Gantry certificates.
* Experience in utility, construction, or mining machinery environments.
* Strong trouble shotting and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and understand customer needs.
* Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and random drug testing.
* Ability to complete timesheets and documentation accurately and on time.
* Willingness to take direction from Leading Hands, Supervisors, and Production Managers.
* Willingness to foster a positive, respectful team environment, free from bullying or harassment.
