Our School
Margaret River Primary School is a level 5 school located in a picturesque setting with established gardens. It has strong community support for the school, parents and the local community actively assist in school activities. Our school ethos is Innovate, Engage and Inspire, and students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of specialist areas in and out of school to complement the core learning curriculum.

Our Role
The Manager Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective administration and financial management of Margaret River Primary School. This position provides high-level leadership across key operational areas including finance, human resources, asset management, procurement, and school support services, ensuring full compliance with Department of Education policies and procedures.
As the Manager Corporate Services, you should oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets, manage contracts and procurement processes, coordinate payroll and leave, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You would also lead and support the Allied Professional team, contributing to workforce planning and fostering a collaborative, efficient, and service-oriented workplace culture.
In addition to operational leadership, the Manager Corporate Services provides strategic advice to the principal, supporting evidence-based decision-making and aligning school resources with educational priorities. The successful applicant will ideally display exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a strong commitment to service excellence, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
Key requirements of this position include:
* Human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and processes;
* Financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to understand and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures;
* Written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
* Customer service principles and practices; and
* Leadership of a team and provision of high-level human resource consultancy and financial advice.
