We are now seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join our team on a major $150 million Social Housing development on the Gold Coast. This role will be instrumental in driving commercial performance, providing leadership across procurement, financial control, and contract governance.
Responsibilities
Lead full contract administration lifecycle including compliance, procurement, subcontractor negotiations and award recommendations
Manage complex variations, EOTs, claims and contractual risks while ensuring commercial accuracy and governance
Deliver high-level financial reporting such as forecasting, progress claims, payment schedules and budget tracking
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors while overseeing performance and contractual obligations
Partner closely with the project team to align cost, program and commercial requirements, proactively identifying issues, supporting dispute resolution and upholding Icon's quality and compliance standards
Requirements
Minimum 6 years experience in contract administration or commercial roles on major projects $100m+
Strong knowledge of AS contracts, construction legislation and commercial frameworks
Proven capability in procurement leadership, complex claims management and financial reporting
Advanced communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, proactive, and proficient in relevant contract systems, with the ability to mentor junior staff
