Great Ocean Road Health serves the communities of Lorne, Apollo Bay, and the Surf Coast, providing high-quality, accessible healthcare close to home. Formed in 2019 through the integration of Lorne Community Hospital and Otway Health, we offer a range of services across our Lorne and Apollo Bay campuses. About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Great Ocean Road Health environmental services cleaning team in Apollo Bay.
The position is casual, with some weekend work. Flexible working arrangements are available to all GORH staff to assist with family life, allowing parents to drop off and pick up children from Kinder, Day Care and School.
This role provides the opportunity to build skills in cleaning methods. While previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment is preferred, training in all aspects of the job will be provided. Working at Great Ocean Road Health offers the chance to assist individuals, families and groups in rural communities with their health care needs, and the team is supported through continuous improvement programs and opportunities for professional development and growth.
Responsibilities
* Support environmental services cleaning team in Apollo Bay, performing cleaning duties as required.
* Participate in training and development activities to learn cleaning methods and best practices.
* Flexible, casual schedule with some weekend work.
Qualifications
* Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment is well regarded.
* Willingness to participate in training and adopt cleaning procedures.
