Reporting to the Field Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of the Field Maintenance team, you will safely and effectively maintain heavy earth moving plant equipment to a high standard and meet required targets. Successful applicants will be willing to actively participate in a culture that focuses on delivery of results through effective teamwork, proactive safety performance and continuous improvement. They will additionally be responsible for undertaking planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work across our site.
About The Role
* Work on a variety of plant and equipment to keep the operation running smoothly and reduce downtime. Equipment includes: 4100 Electric shovels, Liebherr and Hitachi Excavators and blast hole drills
* Diagnose and troubleshoot Electrical faults, completing repairs in line with OEM specifications and site‐specific procedures.
* Deliver technical maintenance support across the HVO fleet to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
Roster and Location
* 4 Panel Roster (12 hour rotating day/night shifts)
* Based in HVO South Facility – Hunter Valley Operations
About You
* Relevant Electrical qualification
* Mining Equipment OEM Training and experience
* Experience in maintaining Electric Rope Shovels
* Experience in maintaining Hydraulic Excavators
* Maintaining Caterpillar and Sandvik Blast Hole Drills
* Open Cut Coal Mining experience (desirable)
* Experience with Operational Technology (OT) Systems (Desirable)
* Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems and knowledge of SAP (desirable)
* Prioritise safe work and follow "No Plan-No Work" policies, and procedures
* Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
* A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence
* Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems
* High Risk Work Licences such as Forklift, EWP & Working at Heights will be highly regarded
