Location: Berkeley Vale Head Office site
Status: 6-month fixed term contract with potential to extend.
About the Role
Reporting to the Acting Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs & Communications ANZ, you will lead Sanitarium’s community care and partner engagement strategy, designing programs that deliver meaningful, measurable impact and strengthen trust across the communities we serve.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading national and local community care programs focused on food insecurity, nutrition education and whole person health.
* Building strong partnerships with key organisations such as LifeEd, ADRA, the Seventh day Adventist Church and community groups.
* Coordinating Sanitarium’s emergency response efforts for natural disasters across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
* Driving storytelling opportunities and managing community care communications in collaboration with the broader Communications team.
* Leading events, activations, employee volunteering opportunities and the Spirit of Sanitarium & Values Awards program.
* Managing community care budgets, data reporting and impact tracking.
About You
You are a relationship builder, community advocate and strategic thinker with a passion for social impact. You will bring:
* 6 - 8 years’ experience in stakeholder engagement, community programs, communications or social welfare.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team to deliver high quality, timely outcomes aligned with organisational priorities.
* Proven ability to lead multi stakeholder initiatives, partnerships and community programs at national and local levels.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence representing an organisation externally.
* Experience in project management, events, budgeting and reporting.
* Ability to balance strategic planning with hands on execution.
