Salary
* WHA5: $30.39 - $30.70 per hour + 25% casual loading
* WHA4: $29.70 - $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading
Casual (up to 31 July 2026), working over a 7 day roster
Eligibility: Open to Everyone

Overview
We are now accepting applications for Casual Cooks to join our dedicated services team at Port Pirie Regional Health Service.
The Cook is responsible for ensuring that the production and distribution of food service is maintained to appropriate standards in an efficient and effective manner. The Cook is responsible for the ordering of non‑imprest food supplies, plating of meals, menu selections and ensuring that quality control of food production is maintained to an acceptable standard.
You will have knowledge of safe working conditions, food storage and correct food handling techniques, and have experience in preparing and cooking bulk meals, and preparing and cooking for dietary requirements. You will have proven ability to work well within a team environment and have sound interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances.
