Social Work clinicians within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical services and facilities within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff. Staff may be required to rotate across SCH as per Allied Health Rotation Guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
* Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective Social Work services across the SCH.
* Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.
* Collaborate at a work unit/service area level and/or across disciplines to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying conflict resolution skills where necessary.
Remuneration value up to $172 615 p.a., comprising salary between $144 991 - $151 289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
