WA Major Projects - FIFO 2:1 - Mechanical Supervisor

Goodline is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Western Australian project team.
The role requires a leader with strong technical capability, effective stakeholder management, and a results-driven mindset.
You will oversee diverse mechanical workgroups and support the safe and efficient delivery of project milestones across multiple work fronts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coordinate, and motivate trades teams including boilermakers, fitters, scaffolders, crane operators, and riggers.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service delivery that meets operational and commercial objectives.
Provide technical oversight, coaching, and guidance to ensure all work meets industry best practice and contractual quality standards.
Perform high-level planning, sequencing, and prioritisation of mechanical works across complex and concurrent work fronts.
Ensure implementation and verification of safety control measures to mitigate operational risks.
Report incidents, non-conformances, and near misses, and participate in incident and RCA investigations as required.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, electrical) to support integrated project delivery.
Conduct and lead daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and task-based risk assessments.
The successful applicant will act as a strong representative of the business internally and externally, demonstrating commitment to client satisfaction, continuous improvement, and high-performance project culture.
About You
Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.
Proven supervisory experience in heavy-industrial or mining construction environments.
Experience working on operating mine sites with an understanding of mine-site compliance and safety systems.
Current driver's licence.
Demonstrated experience in both greenfield and brownfield project execution.
Background in materials handling infrastructure construction and maintenance.
Ability to manage direct labour teams while maintaining a professional and effective client interface.
You are a team-oriented leader with strong communication, organisational, and technical skills.
You have broad knowledge of mechanical construction and maintenance activities and the adaptability to manage varying scopes of work.
You promote a proactive safety culture and comply fully with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
