About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a First Nations Creative Producer. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing bold First Nations storytelling to life and sharing it with the world.
You will be based in the heart of Melbourne Arts Precinct, where you will co-design and deliver high-quality programs to help audiences see, hear, and feel the diversity of First Nations creativity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Create & Deliver Programs – Develop First Nations-led events, performances, installations, and commissions that inspire audiences and reflect cultural excellence.
* Build Partnerships – Form strong, respectful relationships with artists, communities, creative industries, and organisations, working collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.
* Support and Nurture First Nations Artists – Identify emerging artists and trends, giving them opportunities to share their work locally, nationally, and internationally.
* Bring Fresh Ideas – Contribute creative concepts and cultural insight that strengthen Melbourne's cultural identity.
* Lead Projects – Manage events from concept to delivery, coordinating logistics, budgets, and partners while supporting artists to do their best work.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Demonstrated passion and experience in the arts
* Talent for working with people
* A broad knowledge of the arts scene, particularly in First Nations artists and work
