What You'll Do Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of Cisco's CX Service Provider solutions, ensuring alignment with Cisco's goals and customer needs.
Solution Design and Integration: Design and integrate CX solutions addressing end-to-end service provider needs, including hardware, software, and services.
Deep knowledge of SP related HW/SW technology, AI, cloud, managed services, IP transport, automation, and service delivery practices is required.
Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate across different teams within CX and Cisco to develop innovative solutions using diverse technologies.
Advisory Role: Identify and solve complex architectural challenges faced by service provider customers, understanding various SP architectures and industry solutions.
Technical Expertise: Translate complex requirements into secure, reliable, and scalable solutions, demonstrating high technical proficiency.
Engineering Excellence: Ensure engineering practices meet high standards for quality and scalability, with solutions that are repeatable.
Communication and Relationship Building: Build trust with customers and partners through excellent communication and relationship management.
Industry Presence: Maintain visibility through patents, contributions, blogs, whitepapers, and speaking engagements.
Mentorship and Learning: Mentor others and share knowledge within the community.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Drive issue resolution, engage leadership, and communicate effectively to align stakeholders.
Automation & Orchestration: Lead in SP network services automation and orchestration, aligning with CX offerings.
Innovation: Incubate new capabilities and intellectual property with product teams.

Observability and QOE: Provide technical leadership on SP observability platforms and innovations.

Tech/MS/Ph D in relevant fields with 15+ years of Service Provider experience.
Deep expertise in SP technologies, with hands-on experience in select areas like Transport, Core, Mobility.
Active in industry forums, with strong customer consulting skills in pre-sales and delivery.
Experience with large solution delivery, Agile, CI/CD, automation, and open source contributions.
