**About the role**
We're looking for a Technician with existing mechanical knowledge who will use their mechanical and customer service skills to provide maintenance and repairs to piston and diaphragm spray machines and other small equipment. Spray painting machine exposure is not required as we will provide you with on-the-job training. Further to this you will receive training and accreditation through our partnered suppliers. As a self-motivated technically minded person with the ability to work within a team or autonomously, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed from your leaders and colleagues.
**Responsibilities**
- Repairing and maintaining spray machines.
- Providing after-sales support with trade painters.
- Managing the hire of spray equipment and the warranty on spray machines.
- Provide support to the store's teams.
- Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained.
- Managing service stock levels.
**Skills & Experience**
- Equipment repair and service experience, or a Mechanical aptitude.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Confident communications and the natural ability to build rapport.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Physical fitness - lifting is required
