About the role
The role will be responsible for working under limited direction as a member of a team responsible for developing advanced analytics, tools and techniques to exploit the Department's data holdings in support of business requirements. The role will involve leading the design, development and integration of advanced analytic solutions.
Role Responsibilities
* Evaluation of the need for analytics, assessment of the problems to be solved, and what internal or external data sources to use or acquire.
* Specification and application of appropriate mathematical, statistical, predictive modelling or machine‐learning techniques to analyse data, generate insights, create value and support decision‐making. Manage reviews of the benefits and value of analytics techniques and tools and recommend improvements.
The successful candidate will demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5. You will lead integration work in line with the agreed system and service design.

Security Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
