**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Stratco's** Canning Vale manufacturing and roll form facility is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Metal Processing Operators** to join their **Operations Team**. The role of the Production Team Member also known as a Sheetmetal Operator, is to manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manufacturing and assembling of goods to the customers' requirements
- Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines
- Interpret product drawings
- General housekeeping activities
- Contribute in tool box and team meetings
- Participate in relevant training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in setting up and operating manufacturing machinery
- Experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks) would be preferred, but not essential
- Essential - Forklift Licence
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
- Good communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
- A commitment to producing quality products
