Experienced professionals are sought for a Defence Project Manager role, leading key projects in Western Australia and driving the company's Defence market strategy. About the Role: * This is an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end project planning, coordination, and execution across high-value Defence infrastructure and consultancy projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and quality standards. * The successful candidate will oversee complex procurement and contract management processes, adhering to Defence policies and procedures while focusing on value, compliance, and performance outcomes. * A trusted advisor and delivery partner, the individual will build credibility through leadership, reliability, and deep domain knowledge, engaging effectively with Commonwealth representatives, industry stakeholders, and internal technical teams. Key Qualifications: * A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management, ideally complemented by 15+ years' experience in PMCA or similar project delivery roles within Defence or government environments. Local experience in Western Australia is highly regarded. * In-depth knowledge of Defence project and contract frameworks, including a strong understanding of the Defence Capability Lifecycle. * A proven track record in delivering multiple complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels through strong written and verbal communication skills. * Strong commercial acumen, particularly in procurement, contract negotiation, and performance management. * Australian Citizenship is essential.
