Join Clear-out Group, where you will support clients through domestic assistance services, helping them maintain safe, clean, and organised homes. This role also involves assisting with our hoarder and squalor support services as required, working both independently with clients and as part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
Domestic Assistance Support:
Provide regular in-home domestic assistance including cleaning, tidying, basic organisation, and supporting clients to maintain a safe and functional living environment.
Hoarder & Squalor Assistance:
Assist clients who may be experiencing hoarding or squalor conditions by supporting gradual decluttering, cleaning, and restoring safe access within the home, always working in a respectful and non-judgemental manner.
Client Engagement:
Build rapport with clients, understand their individual needs and capacity, and support them in making practical decisions to improve their living spaces and wellbeing.
Independent Work:
Demonstrate initiative and confidence when working one-on-one with clients, maintaining professionalism and efficiency while following company procedures and safety requirements.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to manage complex environments and achieve positive outcomes for clients.
Communication:
Use clear, compassionate communication to support clients, manage expectations, and provide updates to the office and team as required.
Motivation & Encouragement:
Remain positive and resilient in challenging situations, using supportive strategies to encourage progress and maintain client dignity.
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Compassionate, professional, and adaptable approach to varied home environments
Cleaning or domestic assistance experience preferred
NSW Police Check essential
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required
Ability and willingness to travel for services across the Central Coast and Newcastle is a requirement of this role
