About the Position
Are you a highly organised and community-minded professional with a passion for delivering high-quality events and creating meaningful local experiences? We are seeking a motivated Signature Events Officer to join our Communities team in Tom Price.
In this dynamic, hands‐on role, you'll help plan, coordinate, and deliver the Shire's signature events, festivals, and community celebrations. Reporting to the Manager Communities, you'll work closely within internal teams, community groups, vendors, volunteers, and a wide range of local partners to create safe, inclusive, and engaging events that bring people together and strengthen community spirit.
You'll be involved in everything from coordinating event logistics and managing vendor relationships to supporting community‐led initiatives and ensuring all safety, permit, and regulatory requirements are met. Your contribution will play an important role in shaping positive experiences and lasting memories across our Shire.
This opportunity is ideal for someone already based in Tom Price or planning to stay locally, as Shire-provided housing isn't attached to the role. To support work–life balance and attract the right person for the role, flexible working arrangements may be considered, including part-time hours or a schedule aligned with school hours, subject to operational requirements.
